What is the Nexus?
The Nexus is a dedicated space to easily find an opponent on MTG Arena, regardless of the formats you want to play or your playstyle. You can propose games of Pauper, Gladiator, or any other format that can be played in Arena! Do you play Artisan Brawl or Primordial? You're welcome!
How does it work?
When you arrive in the Nexus, you can view all the game rooms waiting for an opponent. These game rooms are called lobbies. You can see the formats the host of each lobby wants to play, the match type (BO1, BO3, etc.), and their play style (beginner, casual, competitive, etc.).
Join a lobby to instantly connect with its host via an integrated chat. You can then exchange Arena ID and start a game.
You can also create your own lobby to host other types of games and wait to find opponents. You'll be notified if a player joins. The lobby can remain open as long as you like, allowing you to play multiple games with different players. Simply leave the tab open in your browser. If you leave your lobby, it will automatically close after a few minutes.
You know everything! All you have to do now is enter the Nexus.
Notes
You can change your username at any time via the site's settings screen. To do so, go to the My Arena menu, then select Settings. You can also save your Arena ID (in the format RadicalDingos#12345) in the settings. This will display your ID instead of your username on the Nexus pages.
